Ripple Bowls

Ripple bowls were originally meant to explore the shape that humans hands and fingers makes on clay. Sometimes symmetrical, sometimes of various sizes, ripples tells the story of human hands meeting material. When you hold a ripple bowl in your hands, the fingers move along the ripples in a natural way connecting you to the bowl and material. The aim is to find a balance between the concave and convex curves of the bowl and create sense of aesthetic peace.

The bowls can be used to everything from salad to snacks. The form of the bowl determines the function (bowls with a smaller base is not suitable for salad due to balance).
